The project aims to restore the original vocation of a luxury residence to a ground-floor apartment in a historic building in the heart of Turin, which had previously been converted into an office.

The basement, currently used as a storage area, is being reclaimed and transformed into a private and family-oriented residential space.

The need to create a connection between the two levels led to the decision to partially demolish the vaulted ceiling of the basement, enabling the creation of a void with a strong scenic impact.

Light from the large southern-facing openings filters through this cavity, penetrating deeply into the underground space.
